75 Years Anniversary
In the 75 years since, this airport has proudly contributed to San José’s transformation from a 95,000-person farm town to today’s bustling city of nearly a million people.
But some things haven’t changed. Like being founded on a selling point centered around convenience.

Today, we’re no longer a municipal airport. We’re San José Mineta International Airport – or SJC as our friends like to call us. Our commitment to convenience remains unwavering. Travel should be easy. Stress-free. Simple. And we promise to keep it that way.
Please join us throughout 2024 for a celebration of 75 years. Stay tuned to this page for details and updates on activities, giveaways and so much more as we celebrate 75 years of simple.
